Deepika Padukon

           


                Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress and former actress. Padukone starred in the 2006 Kannada film Aishwarya. The following year, she made her first Hindi movie with blockbuster Om Shanti Om which earned her the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.

                Padukone was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. His family moved to Bangalore, India when he was 11 months old. Padukone is originally from Mangalorean, and his mother tongue is Konkani. His genealogy comes from Padukone village in Kundapura Taluk in Udupi district of Karnataka state, India. Her father, Prakash Padukone is a world-renowned badminton player, and his mother is a tourism ambassador. Padukone also has a younger sister, Anisha, who was born on February 2, 1991.

                Padukone attended Sophia High School in Bangalore and completed his pre-university studies at Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. While in high school he played badminton at the state level. However, he was unwilling to continue his career as a badminton player.

Modeling

                While in college, Padukone worked as a model. She was spotted at the NLS ramp race, Bangalore. Over the years, she has modeled Indian brand names such as Liril, Dabur Lal powder, Close-Up, and Limca toothpaste, and has been a “product ambassador” for the Jewels of India jewelry exhibition. The Makebelline cosmetics company made her its international spokesperson.
                    At the fifth annual Kingfisher Fashion Awards, she was awarded the title of "Model of the Year". Shortly afterward, she was selected as one of the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar models of 2006 and won two awards at the Idea Zee Fashion Awards: "Female Model of the Year - (Commercial Assignments)" and "Fresh Face of the Year". Padukone was re-appointed as the product ambassador for Kingfisher Airlines and later Levi Strauss and Tissot SA.
                    Deepika received formal acting training at Anupam Kher School of Acting where she was one of the most dedicated students. After pursuing a successful career in modeling, Padukone took part in acting. He started by starring in the music video for the song Naam Hai Tera from Himesh Reshammiya's pop album Aap Kaa Surroor.
In 2006, Padukone made his film debut in the Kannada film Aishwarya starring the opposite actor Upendra. He later made a successful Bollywood actress in 2007 with the international contribution of Farah Khan Om Shanti Om against Shahrukh Khan. Her performance was well-received, earning the actress the award for the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and her first nomination for the Filmfare Best Actress.

Padukone then appeared in Siddharth Anand's romantic comedy Bachna Ae Haseeno starring Ranbir Kapoor and Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba.
The film, released on August 15, 2008, played well in the box. Her next film Chandni Chowk To China, released on January 16, 2009, was a catastrophic commercial disaster. Padukone's fourth release Love Aaj Kal released on July 31, 2009, and became one of the biggest songs in 2009.

                    Padukone was next seen in Excel Entertainment's Karthik Calling Karthik starring Farhan Akhtar, which was released on February 26, 2009. He also starred in Sajid Khan's Housefull with Akshay Kumar, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey led by Ashutosh Gowarikar, and Keanad Kohli's break.

Personal life.

                   In March 2008, Padukone began dating Ranbir Kapoor, his co-star in the film Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008). The couple broke up in November 2009. He is currently in a relationship with Ranveer Singh. Later, she fell in love with her actor Ranveer Singh and on November 14, 2018, the couple tied the knot in Lake Como, Italy, at a traditional ceremony in Konkani and Sindhi. Padukone associates closely with her family and visits them regularly in his hometown of Bangalore. He lives in Prabhadevi, a suburb of Mumbai, and has admitted that he remembers the presence of his parents there. As a Hindu, Padukone considers religion to be an important part of his life and often visits temples and other religious shrines.

                    While recording Bachna Ae Haseeno in 2008, Padukone fell in love with his actor Ranbir Kapoor. She spoke freely about the relationship and put a tattoo of his initials on his neck. He said the relationship had a profound effect on him, transforming him into a confident and prosperous person.  Indian media speculated on the promise and reported that this happened in November 2008, even though Padukone had said he had no plans to get married in the next five years.  The couple split up a year later;  said that in the interview he felt betrayed for a long time. In a 2010 interview, Padukone accused him of dishonesty, and Kapoor later admitted. They reconciled their friendships while working for Jah Jawaani Hai Deewani.
                    Eventually, Padukone was free to talk about his personal life, but in 2017, he talked about love in his relationship with Ranveer Singh who was a star many times, he started dating in 2012. In November 2018, the couple got married at a traditional Konkani and Sindhi ceremony in Lake Como, Italy. The emergence of films and labor struggles (2006-2011).

                  Om Shanti Om has been a successful commercial and emerged as the world's most lucrative film with revenue of ₹ 1.49 billion (the US $ 21 million). Bollywood Hungama entertainment director Taran Adarsh claimed he had everything "needed to be a star", and was awarded the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and received her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Bollywood Hungama reported that Om Shanti Om's success showed improvement in him.

The film has been financially successful, but Namrata Joshi of Outlook has written that Padukone's performance is disappointing; "He's like a man and he has no fire and no phones at all."
