Gorgeous and colourful ensembles, foot-tapping music, elaborate decors, exotic flowers, delicious food, and lots of people are what make a quintessential big fat Indian wedding. Due to the on-going pandemic, however, big weddings will be off the radar for a while. The celebrations will be less extravagant and more intimate, but none the less, still special.
To communicate this latest trend which is going to be a part of the new normal, Athiya Shetty recently shot for the cover of the latest issue of Khush Wedding magazine. She is seen looking regal in a grey gown with floral motifs and embellishments. She makes a rather elegant statement in a muted tone, a rarity in our weddings.
She looks like a millennial bride who is not afraid to bend the rules by opting for a chic ensemble that makes her look ethereal and spunky, all at once. Against the backdrop of the blue sea in Dubai, she epitomizes a free-spirit. With nude lips and minimal make-up, she lets her evocative eye do most of the talking. Her long tresses are the only accessory she dons.
On a related note, Athiya is currently unwinding in Khandala with her family at their holiday home. She has been spending some quality time amidst the greenery and working out at their home gym to stay fit.
